SUMMARY OF THE MOVIE THE NAME OF THE ROSE

"The Name of the Rose" The film begins to appear one killed in a medieval monastery. To investigate if the Holy Inquisition sent a man, William of Baskerville, and his assistant, Adso. As these investigations will appear dead and this causes the monks and begin to alter the deaths attributed to various prophecies related to the devil, as all the dead appear with the same characteristics: - The tongue black ink stains fingers and having been in the library. Guillermo wants access to the library but no one lets you enter it, as for the monks is a study site and tranquility, not to those outside the monastery. Guillermo begins to suspect that is because of a damn book or poisoned letters.

The book is a book banned because it is a comic book, written in ink poisonous and is used by the elder monk to kill all those who are tempted to read it. Guillermo is going to read the book and put a glove not to die from poisoning, the monk then take the book and begins to eat it and cause a fire later in the book. Adso manages to escape, while William is trapped. The monk died of poisoning and calcined.William manages to leave the monastery and set fire to save a few books.
